Itinerary
Upon arrival in Islamabad, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day resting or explore the city’s serene boulevards and landmarks like Faisal Mosque and Daman-e-Koh. Overnight stay in Islamabad.
Begin your scenic drive north. During summer months (June–September), travel via the lush Kaghan Valley and Babusar Pass (4,173 m). Outside this season, follow the legendary Karakoram Highway (KKH), one of the highest paved roads on Earth. Reach Chilas, a gateway town to Gilgit-Baltistan. Overnight in Chilas.
Drive to Raikot Bridge on the KKH, where 4x4 jeeps will take you on a thrilling ride up to Tato Village. From there, begin your 2–3 hour trek (approx. 5 km) to Fairy Meadows (3,300 m), surrounded by thick pine forests and snow-capped peaks. Arrive at your wooden cabin or tented camp with Nanga Parbat looming ahead. Overnight in Fairy Meadows.
Rise early and embark on a day hike (6–7 hours round trip) through Beyal Camp to the Nanga Parbat Base Camp (approx. 3,967 m). Along the way, enjoy awe-inspiring views of Raikot Glacier, alpine streams, and towering cliffs. Return by evening to Fairy Meadows for a peaceful night under the stars.
After breakfast, trek down to Tato and transfer by jeep back to Raikot Bridge. Continue the drive through the dramatic gorges of the Indus and Gilgit Rivers before entering the legendary Hunza Valley, a land of majestic peaks, ancient forts, and welcoming people. Overnight stay in Karimabad, Hunza.
Spend the day discovering the historical and cultural gems of Hunza. Visit Baltit Fort (700 years old), perched on a ridge with panoramic views of Ultar Sar and Ladyfinger Peak, and Altit Fort, recently restored with traditional architecture. Explore the local bazaar, walk through apricot orchards, and enjoy viewpoints like Eagle’s Nest and Duikar. Meet travelers from across the globe who gather here to witness the grandeur of the Karakoram.
Depart from Hunza and retrace your route toward the southern valleys. If the Babusar Pass is open, enjoy a scenic drive through Lulusar Lake, Babusar Top, and Naran; otherwise, return via Chilas along the KKH. Overnight stay en route.
Continue the journey back to Islamabad, reflecting on the breathtaking landscapes and memories made. Arrive by evening and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Islamabad.
Discover the planned beauty of Islamabad. Visit the Pakistan Monument, Lok Virsa Museum, and Saidpur Village. Enjoy a farewell dinner with views of Margalla Hills. Overnight stay in the capital.
Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your onward flight. End of services.
