Itinerary
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport, where you'll be welcomed by your tour guide. After a brief meet and greet, transfer to your hotel to rest and recover from your journey.
An early departure takes you onto the storied Karakoram Highway. Witness dramatic river bends and mountain vistas along the Indus River before arriving in Chilas for an overnight stay.
Continue along the Indus, entering the scenic valleys of Jaglot and Astak. Cross into Baltistan and reach Skardu by evening, where you’ll settle into your hotel amidst crisp alpine air.
Begin your immersion into apricot season with visits to orchards surrounding Skardu. Enjoy a tranquil boat ride at Upper Kachura Lake and explore the gardens and serenity of Shangrila Resort.
Journey into Shigar Valley to admire apricot trees in full bloom. Explore the stunning Shigar Fort and unwind with a picnic by the river before heading back to Skardu.
Travel to Khaplu, a historical town nestled along the Shyok River. Visit the majestic Khaplu Palace, centuries-old mosques, and wander through blossom-lined village paths.
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Khaplu before returning to Skardu. The day ends with free time to relax or explore the local bazaars.
Drive along the stunning Skardu-Gilgit Road, with scenic stops by the Indus River. Arrive in Gilgit for a short city tour and overnight stay.
Travel deeper into the Hunza Valley, stopping at the famous Rakaposhi Viewpoint. Upon arrival, tour Altit and Baltit Forts and stroll through blossom-covered lanes of Karimabad.
Explore the turquoise Attabad Lake with an optional boat ride, then venture into Gulmit Village and its traditional houses. Cross the suspension bridge and admire the sharp ridges of the Passu Cones and glacier.
Catch the sunrise from Duikar for sweeping views over Hunza. The rest of the day is yours to explore local markets, viewpoints, or join an optional cultural evening.
Begin the return journey on the Karakoram Highway. Stop at the junction of three major mountain ranges and the Nanga Parbat viewpoint before reaching Chilas.
Continue your descent through breathtaking valleys. Stop for lunch en route and arrive in Islamabad by evening.
Spend your final day exploring Islamabad’s landmarks and scenic spots before your evening transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
