Itinerary
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Islamabad to Shogran, a charming hill station perched at 2,362 meters above sea level. The road winds through thick pine forests and lush meadows, offering captivating views along the way. Upon arrival, you will check into a comfortable resort, where you can unwind and soak in the cool mountain air. In the evening, take a stroll around the village or relax at the resort while enjoying the tranquil surroundings.
Today, set out for a day excursion to the stunning Sri and Paye meadows. The meadows are known for their vibrant greenery, fresh alpine air, and the panoramic views they offer of the snow-capped peaks of Malika Parbat and other surrounding mountains. You can hike or take a jeep ride up to the meadows, which are the perfect spot for a peaceful picnic or simply to marvel at the untouched beauty of nature. The lush landscapes are ideal for photography and relaxation.
After breakfast, head towards Naran, a popular town in the Kaghan Valley. The journey takes you through picturesque landscapes dotted with rivers, streams, and valleys. Upon arrival in Naran, you will continue your trip to the famous Saif-ul-Mulook Lake, one of the most breathtaking spots in the entire region. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks and lush green meadows, the lake is a must-see. You can enjoy boating in the crystal-clear waters or take a short hike around the area for some fantastic views. Return to Naran for an overnight stay.
Today, enjoy a thrilling jeep ride to Babusar Pass, one of the highest points in the region, located at an altitude of 4,173 meters. From the top, you can enjoy awe-inspiring views of the Kaghan Valley, with snow-clad mountains on all sides. The road to Babusar Pass is a thrilling adventure, but the panoramic views at the summit make the journey worth it. You will also have the opportunity to explore the surrounding meadows and take in the cool mountain breeze before returning to Naran for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, it’s time to begin your journey back to Islamabad. The return trip offers another opportunity to take in the stunning mountain views, with the road winding through dense forests and small villages. Along the way, you can make stops to capture photos and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before arriving in Islamabad, where your unforgettable Kaghan Valley adventure concludes.
