Itinerary
Your tour begins with a scenic drive from Islamabad to Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Continue the journey along the beautiful Neelum River, passing through lush green hills and charming villages. After approximately 6–7 hours, arrive at your hotel in Neelum Valley and check-in. After breakfast, set off towards the historic town of Sharda, known for its natural beauty and ancient ruins. Travel by road for about 3 hours to reach Sharda, then continue your journey towards Kel, a peaceful village located at the base of Arang Kel, approximately 1.5 hours away. From Kel, either trek or take a chairlift to the enchanting meadow of Arang Kel, your final destination for the day. Overnight stay at hotel in Arang Kel
Spend a full day exploring the tranquil surroundings of Arang Kel, guided by a knowledgeable local. Enjoy walking trails, panoramic views, and traditional wooden homes surrounded by pine forests. Depart from Arang Kel and return to Sharda, where you’ll explore the ancient ruins of Sharda University, a historical learning center believed to be from the Buddhist era.
