Itinerary
Depart early from Islamabad and begin your scenic drive toward Swat Valley. Enjoy panoramic views along the Swat Expressway and through Malakand Pass. Arrive in Mingora by evening. Visit Fizagat Park for a leisurely stroll and explore the local bazaar. Overnight stay in Mingora.
After breakfast, depart for Kalam, one of the most scenic towns in upper Swat. En route, pass through the picturesque towns of Madyan and Bahrain, known for their riverside beauty and cultural charm. Arrive in Kalam by afternoon and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kalam.
Today is reserved for a breathtaking excursion to Mahodand Lake, nestled among alpine peaks and pine forests. Enjoy jeep safari rides, scenic photo stops, and optional horse riding or boating. Return to Kalam by evening. Overnight stay in Kalam.
Begin your return journey toward Saidu Sharif, the historic administrative center of Swat. En route, visit Marghzar, the summer residence of the former ruler, Wali-e-Swat. Explore the White Palace and surrounding gardens. Overnight stay in Saidu Sharif or Mingora.
After breakfast, depart Swat and head toward Murree via motorway and Hazara Expressway. Enjoy short stopovers at scenic spots along the way. Arrive in Murree by late afternoon. Free time for shopping and exploration at Mall Road. Overnight stay in Murree.
Start the day with a half-day excursion to Thandiyani (weather permitting). Later, drive through Donga Gali, Shangla Gali, and Ayubia, enjoying the lush forest trails and mountain air. Return to Murree in the evening. Overnight stay in Murree.
Visit Patriata (New Murree) for a thrilling chairlift and cable car ride through pine-covered hills. Continue to Bhurban, a peaceful resort area known for its scenic beauty. Return to Murree for overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart Murree and drive back to Islamabad. Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your onward journey, concluding a memorable northern getaway.
